Do’s:
- Have good preparation and
education about what happens
during a Volcanic Eruption.
- Prepare easy to eat food and
first aid kits for unexpected
emergencies.
- Buy things that are suited for
emergencies (e.g.: Radios,
Water, Flashlight, etc.)
- Prepare protection for yourself
such as masks and goggles.
Dont’s:
- Do not keep your doors and
windows open in case of ashfall.
- Do not go to areas near to the
volcanoes as it may cause
safety hazards.
Before, During, and After

Do’s:
- Follow the evacuation
procedures given or instructed
by the proper officials.
- Listen to radio announcements
on what to do or to get the
latest news about what is
happening.
- Help others in need of
assistance like your neighbors
and others like elderlies and
children.
- Use goggles and mask to
protect yourself from ashfall.
Dont’s:
- Do not go to areas downwind
from the volcano to avoid ash.
- As much as possible, do not go
outside and keep yourself
locked inside your home (if it is
safe)

- Check your family members if
they have any difficulties in
breathing and such.
- Wait for radio announcements for
instructions on what to do or
where to go.
- Check your house for any
damages including utility lines
such as electricity, water, and
telephone lines.
- Avoid driving as it might spread
ash and hurt others.
Dont’s:
- Do not go to outside to avoid
ashes that still might occur.
- Avoid driving outside as ash can
damage your vehicles.
