Human are naturally biased, during interview, therefore, common traits could be

Question 3. (3 Marks)
Q3. APA and MLA are the two common styles of writing your research work.
Explore from website the two methods and explain why it is important to
maintain these formats.
APA
APA format was created by American Psychological association and is applied mainly in
research papers to ensure that the sources are correctly cited. APA has a consistent formatting
such as title page, abstract, methods, literature review, results and conclusion.
The two writing styles gives a writer credibility because of the association with the publications.
MLA
This is the Modern Language Association; it is also called a handbook of research writers. It
dictates the format and the styles of the papers used in the research. In addition to the guidelines
provided by APA, MLA has guidelines for footnotes and endnotes.
The two formatting options are for student and colleges and it is almost impossible not to follow
a given formation option. The professor might need it to meet a given standard. The two formats
have been used widely and is very popular among the academic institutions.
A referred journal is used in quality control. Every journal that has been published
is closely checked by a panel who are experts in the field, therefore they must go
through scrutiny before they are released for further consumption. The reviewers
make proper use of the contribution of the paper.
On the other hand, a refereed journal has guidelines for the paper to be published
and has a more rigorous review process than the professional peer reviewed
journals. The process of review and submission takes months apart, therefore it is
more difficult to publish a refereed journal than a peer reviewed journal.
