The ESR o f t h e AsO 4 c e n t e r in CsH_AsO. is i n v e s t i g a t e d '
from 4.2K t o 270K. The b e h a v i o r o f th~s p ~ r a m a g n e t i c c e n t e r
is e s s e n t i a l l y different from i t s b e h a v i o r in t h e o t h e r
members o f t h e KDP f a m i l y . Two p r o p e r t i e s o f the c e n t e r a r e
r e m a r k a b l e : i t seems t o behave l l k e a H a l p e r i n - V a r m a kind of
d e f e c t and t o move c l a s s i c a l l y in a s i n g l e - w e l l potential
which can be r e p r e s e n t e d w i t h v e r y good a p p r o x i m a t i o n by
square w e l l .
