Working as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer since Oct’14 in Business Continuity and DR team, Information Risk
Management and Data Security team with the following duties:

Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery:

· Facilitate and coordinate business continuity plan and exercise for customer and its business units.
· Capitalize on business opportunities to refine production processes to mitigate exposure during
disruptions of service and possibly improve day-to-day operations.
· Test, implement, support, maintain and develop the current BCP plan for the client.
· Perform companywide Business Impact.
· Work with various tower leads and technology groups for infrastructure readiness to be able to achieve
the RTO and RPO during an actual DR.
· Conduct Data center table top exercises and trainings on regular interval to identify the risks and have
mitigation plans in place.

· Simulation of disaster manually to test the DR plan, recovery SOPs, RTO, RPO and infrastructure
readiness.
· Create AIR log after every BCP exercise and create a remediation plan to improve the readiness for an
actual DR.
· Report BCP and DR test results to the senior management.
· Provide Business Continuity Planning documentation and training to all employees having a need to
understand the Business Continuity Planning process.
· Perform periodic reviews and tests of established Business Continuity Plans and procedures, reporting
findings to management and making recommendations for improvements as needed.

Information Risk Management and Data Security:

Working in the information risk management team gave me an opportunity to assess, identify and manage
information security risks by doing periodic audits and running daily health checks for various security systems.
The audits include:
· Termination User - Quarterly
· 5 week id disablement – Daily
· Change request audit – Monthly
· User Re-certification

Symantec Anti-virus(SEP Administration):

· Configuration and maintenance of AV policies on servers and apply them to clients.
· Creation and maintenance of exception policies on servers, OUs and apply them to clients.
· Create, modify & delete administrator accounts on the SEP console.
· Ensure client compliance with the latest updates.
· Prepare and provide daily health check report from the AV server.
· Run E-Set scan on servers to remediate the risks identified on servers or clients.
· Configure live update process.
· Troubleshoot virus infection/prevention issues.

Symantec PGP Universal Server administration:

· Management of PGP desktops via the Symantec Universal server policies.
· Management of PGP whole disk encryption and PGP Net share via Universal server administration.
· Create, modify & delete administrator and end user accounts on the Symantec encryption manager
server console.
· Help users to share files securely over a network via net share.

· Verify PGP server replication.

· Provide WDRT and Passphrase to users.
· Assist EUC team to help users register to the PGP client.
· Ensure client compliance with latest updates.
· Report and monitor PGP logs on the universal server.

Bluecoat - Content Filtering:

· Working on bluecoat cloud environment by creating and maintaining policies to allow and block various
URLs, Web applications and Ip addresses.
· Follow approval process to White/blacklist any URL or IP.
· Report and identify potential malware and virus being accessed by the clients.
· Identify risks from the malware threat reports and remediate them on priority by running workstation
scans.
· Maintain administrator accounts by restricting the access to the threat pulse portal as per the client
requirement.
· Setting up of new sites.

Cisco ISE:
· Log monitoring of wired and wireless connections.
· Checking authorization and policies for users connected.
· Adding MAC address for authentication to network.

Operating from Pune as a Team Lead for a team of 6 members working on transitioning Email security and RSA
2-factor authentication in a transition project that is segregated in two cities – Pune and Chennai and responsible
for the following:

Operational Responsibilities:
· Acting as the conduit between the Manager and team members in Pune.
· Report the knowledge acquisition status to the project transition team and take sign off from the customer
on the SOPs, documents and weekly status reports prepared after the KA sessions.
· Have daily calls with the client SMEs and discuss the transition progress and present plans to achieve the
planned date for transition.

· Work with vendors, internal teams to identify root causes of P1 and report the RCA to the customer and
management.
· Respond to all notifications of unplanned service interruptions from customer as well as internal team to
engage resources and ensure there is minimal impact to the infrastructure.
· Daily tasks included – Work allocation, Queue management, Incident Management, Shift, Roaster and
Absence management.

Technical Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible to protect the customer infrastructure from SPAM, Malware or other threats by e-mail
security management on Proof Point and also working on RSA User Authentication Manager for token
management and token despatch.

‘Information Security’ is a practice of defending information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption
and modification. Hence my primary task was User Security Administration and Assessment on various platforms
and internal applications of the bank that were used by the Wellsfargo customers and the employees at the
Wellsfargo bank.
· Some of the vital applications/ platforms on which user administration was performed are Active directory,
RACF, RSA User Authentication Manager, Keon Boks, Cisco ISE – identity management.
· Other tasks included mentoring and training any new team member who join helping them from on
boarding formalities to getting in sync with the daily work process.
· Monitor user ID and access control management activities and report reviews.
· Review, perform risk assessment and approve user requests as per the security policy and company
standards.
