ranije sreo.
I met a girl at a party, she was so familiar to me, I was sure I had already met her earlier.

2) Bila sam umorna cijeli dan jučer zato što nisam cijelu noć spavala noć prije.
I was tired all day yesterday because I didn't sleep all night the night before.

3) Zašto si ljuta na Billa? Zato što je zaboravio našu godišnjicu!

Why are you mad at Bill? Because he forgot our anniversary!

2. Explain the difference in meaning between the following sentences:

1) When I got home, the children went to bed. - the children immediately went to bed
When I got home, the children had gone to bed. - the children already went to bed

2) I was listening to music while I was doing my homework. - listened to music in the process
of doing homework
I was listening to music when I'd done my homework. - listened to music after finishing
homework
