1. Earthworks
1.1 Unsuitable materials shall be removed and disposed to designated location.
1.2 Excavation shall conform to the depth and width of the required cross section
as reflected on approved shop drawings/plans.
1.3 Backfilling materials shall be gravel base/granular materials well compacted.
3. Steel works
Materials:
3.1 All structural steel i.e. purlins, angles and the like shall have minimum yield
strength of 275 MPa.
3.2 All structural steel shall be painted with red oxide primer and 2-coats white
QDE (Welcoat).
3.3 Welding electrodes shall conform to AWS A-5.1 or A-5.5, E-60 electrodes.
Electrodes for dissimilar metal (SS and MS) shall be all state 275 or approved
equivalent.
3.4 Welding of structural members in shop and in field shall be done only by
certified and experienced welder.
3.5 Surfaces to be welded shall be free from loose sides, rust, grease and other
foreign materials that will impair the soundness of the weld.
5. Roofing works
5.1 Roofing shall be 0.40mm thick longspan roofing, Rib-Type.
5.2 Roofing insulation shall be EWA foam 12.5mm thick.
5.3 Bended accessories like ridge roll, wall flashing shall be galvalume 55 sheets
bended as indicated on the plan.
5.4 Gutter shall be stainless steel bended as shown on the plan.
6. Finishing
6.1 Floor
6.1.1 Flooring shall be 16”x16” Vitrified floor tiles and 12”x12” Exterior
floor tile.
6.4 Ceiling
6.4.1 Exterior and Interior ceiling shall be 4.5mm thick Hardiflex on light
metal frames
6.5 Painting Works
6.5.1 Exterior wall shall be painted with color blue, gray and white.
6.5.2 Interior wall shall be painted color white.
7. Plumbing works
All piping materials, fixtures and fittings accessories whether specifically mention
or not but necessary for the completion of the project shall be furnished by the
contractor.
