The AROROY TRANSPORT SERVICE COOPERATIVE (ARTRANSCO) is a newly formed

cooperative of Public Transport Operators and Drivers plying the route Aroroy – Masbate and
Vice-Versa. This cooperative was formed in compliance to the Memorandum Circular No.
2018-008 otherwise known as the Omnibus Franchising Guidelines (OFG) issued by the
Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

However, one of the requirements in the formation of transport cooperatives is the

Orientation/Seminar from your office the Office of Transportation Cooperatives. Twenty
Two (22) of our members have already attended this activity last August 16, 2018 August 3,
2019 and September 2019 and we still need to add some more members that will attend the
seminar so that we can meet the minimum required members in order to formally register our
Cooperative with the Cooperative Development Authority.

In this regard, we would like to request from your good office to please provide us the necessary
orientation/seminar regarding the transport service cooperativism. We would be glad if you
could provide us slots in the forthcoming schedule of orientation/seminar in Masbate City.
