The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco is one of the most
famous bridges in the world. It opened in 1937. At that time, it
was the longest bridge in the world, but there are longer ones
now. It’s 67 metres high, 27 metres wide and almost 3

metres above the water. It’s one of the busiest bridges in the
