Effectiveness of Marketing Mix Practices in Product and

Promotion of Chowking Balagtas

Introduction

Some restaurants offers unlimited meals, most commonly the unli rice since

customers prefer to buy foods that can satisfy their hungriness. Some customers also

refers to the combination of meals or the value meals depends on their cravings. And the

most common foods that people seeks in a fast food restaurants, is the fried chicken.

Customers wants delicious breading and larger chickens compared to the salty and

smaller one. Gravy is also important to match with the chicken. These are the trends on a

fast food restaurants.

Issues and concerns. These are some problems that most fast food restaurants

may encounter. There are many fast food restaurants nowadays and most of the customer

wants a different kind of product. The customers want those who were on the lower class

more preferred to buy cheap products rather than those expensive products. We know that

the fast food restaurants was for everyone not just for those wealthy people. And also

some restaurants are more popular than others.

Objectives of the study. Our objective is to give solutions for the given

problems. We want to find a possible solutions to these problems , in order to solve these

problem that they might encounter in their business. The purpose of our study is to help

the Chowking Balagtas restaurants to solve their problems in product and promotion of

the marketing mix practices.

The significance of this study will benefit the following sectors of the society:

research industry, business owners, customers in Balagtas, and, future researcher. This

paper can improve the marketing mix of a certain business. It can help them to have a

good relationship to the customers and to maintain them. This study also contains

strategies that owners are able to apply in their business. It can be also a good source of

information for the beginners or to the new owners and to lead to success for their future.

The theoretical foundation of this study is based on marketing mix practices of

training employees correctly is essential for any successful restaurant. Food service is a

customer-contact-intensive business (Fowler,2017). Thus, study forwards that marketing

mix practices may be significantly related to the success of Chowking Balagtas.

The major thrust of this paper is to answer the problem: What is the level of

effectiveness of marketing mix practices in product and promotion of Chowking

Balagtas?

Specifically, the following questions will be addressed:

1. What are the marketing mix practices of fast food in terms of:

2. What training opportunies are provided to employees in terms of:

To answer these questions, this undertaking will test the following hypotheses:

Ho: Marketing Mix practices has no significant affect in product and promotion of

Chowking Balagtas.

Ha: Marketing mix practices has significant affect in product and promotion of

Chowking Balagtas

Background

Restaurants. It is the public food and beverages on a commercial basis. A

restaurant is a place of business where people can choose a meal to be prepared and

served to them at a table, and for which they pay, usually after eating.

Fast food. The most familiar restaurant to most people. Fast food service

attracted customers to its speed, convenience, and cheap prices. Fast food restaurants are

typically chains. If you are thinking of opening a fast food franchise, keep in mind that

the initial costs of franchising are more expensive than opening an independent

restaurant. (Mealey, 2017

Family style. It is also known as casual style dining in the United States, offers

moderately priced entries from menus featuring a mix of classics cuisines, individualized

with signature sauces, dips or other toppings cuisine.

Fine dining. The term fining brings to mind all kinds of images, from crisp white

table cloths to waiters in tuxedos. Fine dining, just as the name suggest, offer patrons the

finest in food, service and atmosphere. It is also the highest priced type of restaurant you

can operate. Fine dining restaurants are usually are unique, even if they are owned by the

same person.

Marketing mix practices. This refers to the set of actions, or tactics, that a

company uses to promote its brand or product in the market.

Product. A good or service that most closely meets the requirements of a

particular market and yields enough profit to justify its continued existence.

Promotion. The advancement of a product, idea, or point of view through

publicity and/or advertising.

Methodology

This study will use descriptive type of research following the correlational design.
