1. CONDITIONS OF GUARANTEE

Vav Technology guarantees its Da Vinci OB48 spray robot machine against functional and
manufacturing defects during the following period;

 12 months from installation date.

Screens and keyboards consumables (for example blowing mannequin boats, etc.) are NOT
covered by guarantee. A full price list of consumables is available on request from Vav
Technology After Sales Service.

1.1 The Guarantee Includes


- The substitutions or repair of faulty parts by our authorised technical service.

- The transportation cost of the return of faulty parts to the manufacturer provided the
chosen mode of transport and shipper has been accepted in writing by Vav Technology.

1.2 The Guarantee Does Not Include


- The cost of travel, stay, and expenses of our authorised technical service personnel.

- The transport and any customs clearance costs (including taxes) derived from the shipment
of a repaired or replacement part to the client.

- The cost of repairation of the dameged parts during transit due to incorrect packaging on
the client’s part.

- Any customs costs or expenses if applicable during the return of faulty parts.

1) Blowing boats, PTFE tubings, all filters, all control buttons, spray guns and its spare parts,
canal brushes and robotic arm cloths.

2) Damages occured because of operation with improper robotic arm cloths.

This guarantee will be valid provided the working, maintenance, cleanliness and installation
conditions specified by Vav Technology are followed but shall be invalid if any problems or
faults occur due to negligence, bad manipulation, and lack of care or having exceeded the
functional limits of the machine. Damage caused by fire, freezing, accident, wars, natural
disasters, terrorism or other causes beyond human control.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

It is strongly recommended that all personnel involved in the installation, operation or


maintenance of the machine, read this manual and understand its content.

2.1 Precautions During Transportation

1. The total weight of the machine is about 6800 Kg. Make sure that the capacity
of the forklift to be used is at the capacity to handle this weight.
2. When transporting the machine with a crane or a forklift, never support the machine
manually.
3. Follow the “Unloading Procedure” steps from the container.
4. During the transportation, stay out from under the lifted machine.
5. Since the machine is composed of precision parts, be careful not to apply excessive
shocks or vibrations to the machine during transportation.
6. To carry out smooth and safe installation, remove all obstacles before installing the
machine.
7. When transporting the machine:
a. Keep the ambient temperature within the range of 15°C – 35°C.
b. Keep the relative humidity within the range of %35 - %80.
c. Keep free from excessively large shock and vibration.

2.2 Precautions During Installation

1. Installation area’s floor slope must be under %1


2. Ambient temperature within the range of 15°C – 35°C.
3. Humidity within the range of %35 - %80.
4. Free from dust, smoke, water, oil, etc.
5. Free from flammable and / or corrosive liquid and gas.
6. Free from excessively large shock and vibration.
7. Free from electrical noise interference.
8. Place the machine where power is supplied and other preperations are done within
specification.
9. Place the machine where the voltage difference between neutral and ground must be
lower than 2 volt.
10. Do not connect the primary power until connections between Robot Arms and Robot
Controller are completed.
11. Make sure that all air and water inlet and outlet valves are in right position.
12. Check the drain system before installing the machine.
13. Pay attention to warning labels sticked on the machine.

3. INSTALLATIONS REQUIREMENTS

The customer is responsible to provide all requirements specified in the tables


below:

1. Electrical Requirements:
Nominal Power: 20 kW
Power Consumption: 2 kW
Electrical Consumption: 380 VAC (3 Phase + Earth) 25A, 50 Hz
Cable Diameter: 4 mm for a maximum distance of 10 m.
Online UPS 15 kVA Mono (Single) Phase 220 VAC, 50 Hz
(Separate Filters for Phase and Neutral)
Regulator 20 kVA 380VAC 50 Hz
The voltage difference between ground and neutral must be lower than 2.0
Volt.

2. Pneumatic Requirements:
Pressure: 6 bar
Pneumatic consumption: 2000 liter/min
Pipe Diameter: 2’’

3. Environment Requirements:
Operating Temperature: 15°C to 30°C
Humidity: < %80
The floor must be covered with ceramic and the walls must be painted.

4. Extraction Requirements:
Pipe Diameter: 500 mm
Max. Tube (or canal) length: 15 m
Maximum number of 90° joints: 5

All the suction fans speed must be adjustable. If The factory has ventilation
system greater than 30000 m3/hr, the customer can use the existing system
for suction operation.

7. SPRAY CABIN (WATER CURTAIN)

Spray cabin consists of a stainless steel pool, a circulation pump and a perforated pipe.
There are four spray cabins around machine.

7.1 Water Level in Stainless Steel Pool

Warning
1) If the water level is less than 170 mm, the circulation pump can be damaged and can be
out of order.

2) If the water level higher than 170 mm, after turning off the machine the water can cause
flood.

Connectivity: Clonemac 10AX AN must be connected to
DA VINCI OB48 with Ethernet Cable.

WARNING

1) The surface of installation area of the Clone – Mac 10AX must be stable and away of
vibrations.

2) 3000 mm diametered area must be a FREE ZONE, all metals and equipments such as
mobile phones, illumination lights and other all electrical and electronical devices must be
away from this area.

3) Recording platform must be installed with the help of spirit level and must be fixed to the
ground with Vav ground stubs.

8.1 Clonemac 10AX AN Version Screen and Keyboard Consol

Recording platform must be installed with the help of spirit level and must be fixed to the
ground with Vav ground stubs.

1 - The surface of installation area of the Clonemac 10AX AN must be stable and away of
vibrations.

2 - 3000 mm diametered area must be a FREE ZONE, all metals and equipments such as
mobile phones, illumination lights and other all electrical and electronical devices must be
away from this area.

For the operation of chemical tanks, the list below must be provided:

10. AIR TANK (Will be Provided by The Customer)

Material: Mild steel


Diameter: Ø1200 mm
Height: 2000 mm
Capacity: Apr. 2200 Liter
Inlet and outlet: 2’’
Working pressure: 6 – 8 bar
Additions to system: Manometer and automatic water pitcher
Air drier is prefered.
The pipes between the machine and the air tank must be 2“ size and PVC or galvanized
material.

Warning
This tank must be used only for one DA VINCI Robot machine. Do not service air to any
other system with this pressured air tank.

Warning
1) The pressured air coming to the machine and to the spray guns must be dry air.

2) In PP spray operations, the water concentration in the air changes the PP concentration.
This causes the effects apperance change. The air must be again dry air in order to avoid
unforced production mistakes.
