Sharpay Evans

Sharpay is a popular girl and self-centered drama queen who loves to be, and often is, in the spotlight.
Sharpay and Ryan Evans (Sharpay's fraternal twin brother) are the co-presidents of the East High
Drama Club. The Evans twins have starred in all school productions since they were children, and she
craves the spotlight. Sharpay always has had the lead role in East High and she searched for a
university scholarship to study in juliar. She dreams to be in the future a big actress of Hollywood.
This girl is ambitious to obtain whatever she wants, as well as she always is focus on her goals. She
also has a Yorkshire Terrier dog named Boi and her parents are the owners of the Lava Springs
Country Club, this explains her lifestyle like a rich girl. I think that Sharpay is a role model because
she works very hard to achieve her goals and accept when she lose.

First, sharpay is a good role model because she shows security and determination. She knows her
priorities and she never stops to make her dreams come true. In HSM her classmate attention
concentrated at relationships. Troy and Gabriella were chasing each other, contrary to Sharpay who
was chasing her dream, fabulous solos and college opportunities like Juliar, Karenna Meredith (2019).
Many people say she is the antagonist of history because in some cases she accommodates all the
events in her favor so her partners might not be able to participate. But I think she just wanted to save
the show, and who more than her to make it the best. Moreover, Sharpey yearned for a career in
acting and not like a hobby.

Second, I believe that Sharpay doesn't act like a diva in the final. Everybody makes mistakes and she
is not the exception.It´s more important to correct them and not hurting anyone. Usually villains when
there plans are crashed, they are so motivated to destroy anything that comes his way to get what
they want. Since sharpay enjoys the triumph of her friends.Even though if she had more training than
other. For example: When she lost the lead in the musical, she congratulated Gabriella with the phrase
in the theater “Break a leg” and Gabriella didn't understood the meaning, MsMojo (2018). She
allowed her partners to have the opportunity and prove their potential. Sharpay admits her mistakes
and changes for them. This girl teaches us to be better, it doesn't matter if it doesn't work like we
want.

To conclude, often history are based on the perspective of main character and not villian. They always
are attacked because even good things make them look bad in the history. I think that Sharpay, even if
she's a villain, is a good example of a role model, because she only was trying to have a good future.
she never wanted to hurt someone. She was talented, creative and ambitious girl who was just
working hard for a place in the entertainment world.
