Look at the lyrics of the song on page 2. What do the following expressions
mean?

PAIN is mainly used as a noun when we talk about mental or emotional suffering
ACHE can be used as a verb to talk about a continuous dull pain e.g. My eyes are aching from lack of
sleep. However, most often we can find ACHE in such words as: HEADACHE, TOOTHACHE,
HEARTACHE and BELLYACHE.
HURT is usually used as a verb to talk about pain that we feel in individual parts of the body or when
we talk about injuries, e.g. My knees hurt. I hurt my back playing rugby.

A LITTLE means some, a small amount and is used with UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS a little patience = some patience
A FEW means some, a small number and is used with COUNTABLE NOUNS a few people = some people
LITTLE means not much and is used with UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS little patience = not much patience
FEW means not many and is used with COUNTABLE NOUNS few people = not many people
