2.1 Lipids: Fatty acids and related Lipids, Fat soluble vitamins, steroids and other lipids
2.2 Sugar and Polysaccharides: D-glucose and other monosaccharides, disaccharides to
Polysaccharides and cellulose.
2.3 From Nucleotides to RNA and DNA: Building blocks, and energy carrier and coenzyme,
Biological information storage: DNA and RNA
2.4 Amino, Peptides and Protein: Amino acid building blocks and polypeptides, protein structure,
primary structure, secondary and tertiary structure, quaternary structure and biological
regulation
2.5 Hybrid Biochemical : peptidoglycan and lipopolysaccharides, antibodies and other
glycoproteins
3. The Kinetics of Enzyme-Catalyzed Reactions [10 hours]
