ÖÖD was founded in 2016 by brothers Jaak and Andreas Tiik.

When planning a weekend escape out of the city, they couldn’t

find the right kind of place to stay. Working every day in the city
environment called for a quality time off. To disconnect. To dream.

They were looking for an edgy but cozy house in a beautiful spot in
the nature for their hiking trip that would nurture their
creative minds.

As they were not able to find a stay to their liking, the experience
presented them with the idea of creating ÖÖD hotel concept. A
design house of a stylish and bold design.

They knew they wanted to help people chase their dream of a

stress-free life and being closer to nature. One ÖÖD at a time we
can make a huge impact.
What is ÖÖD?
ÖÖD is a small house solution that has been designed and developed
for hosting purposes while being praised as a tiny house for living.

Designed to be used year-round in cold as well as hot climates the

18m2 steel structure withstands the test of time. The use of premium
materials assures quality of use inside and out.

ÖÖD comes in two sizes and features Nordic minimalism at its purest
form, accommodating a kitchenette, a toilet and a bathroom, a living
space and sleeping quarters, while still managing to seem airy and
spacious.

ÖÖD mirror house that fits perfectly with the cool Nordic setting
faced a project in Ghana – the heat, the blazing sun, the palm trees,
the sand, the ocean, the sunrise, the sunset, the people, and its many
spectacular reflections.
