PORTFOLIOS within a Portfolio


(1:15-1:30pm) I. Opening

Suggestions sa opening ka Report: i-game type? Para indi boring; like tungaon ang room sa four that will
represent 4-5 choices (which i-flash sa screen para ma-guide accordingly); for example, the manner of
assessment is “facebook post”, where sia naga-fall – reading? Writing? Listening? Speaking? All of the
above? Or say, ma-flash kita sang “scrapbook”, will it be just llistening, speaking, etc? Then hatagan ta
lang sila sang table kon diin pwede gamiton ang following assessment tools as summary? Mga 30 mins
then ma-report kita sa new trends on how to assess per language skill; dasigon ta lang – mga 10 minutes
each (15 minutes max), 10 slides each? then mapa-group activity ta sa ila (how to create a language-
assessment portfolio in social media, spec. facebook, which they will publish during the class period, and
part sang aton nga portfolio? With rubrics )what do you think?

(1:30-2:30pm) II. Kinds of Performances & How to Assess it


-Per Language Skill-(Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing & Combination), these assessment tools will
comprise the portfolio; pls explore new trends
Format of report (open for suggestions): introduce 4-5 assessment tools for your assigned language skill
& give a short background & IF POSSIBLE cite studies that support the effectivity of those tools
1:30-1:45pm - Listening
1:45-2:00pm - Speaking
2:00-2:15pm - Reading
2:15-2:30pm - Writing
2:30-2:45pm – Combinations/Hybrids

(2:55-4:30pm) -Activity (to be produced by participants); should be posted before 4:30 – NEED HELP SA
