Answer: I don’t generally try to write good blog comments.

But occasionally I do comment.

When I do so I do it because I feel I have something valuable to contribute.

It may be encouragement. Or sympathy. Or humour. Or information. I may be able to

provide supporting examples or a useful link.

Or I may disagree with something in the blog. I post a comment to provide balance, or a
counter example, or to be helpful and suggest that the error should be amended or
corrected.
