    8:50 am
    All students to be given a detailed overview of the event by their teacher.
    Also going over the rules for the event.

    Part A: What do we know about rubbish


    9 am to 9:20 am
    Students to watch the Blue trailer.
    Students to take part in a turn and talk activity

    Part B: Investigation
    9:20 am to 9:45 am
    Students will investigate and explore sensory tables
    Students will complete their worksheet along the way.
    Once all tables have been explored students to regroup for
    discussion.
    Watch a short clip on how recycling works.
    Part C: Rubbish in our oceans
    9:45 am to 9:55 am
    A Short discussion on plastic in our ocean.
    Watch a short clip on how much plastic is in our ocean.

    Part D: Reflection
    9:55 am to 10 Am
    Teachers to reflect with students on what has been learned.
