1 In our case, we have considered bolt specification SA 193 Gr.B7 as per
Table 1B which falls in High Strength category
2 Length of Bolting is considered as per Table-15 of ASME B16.5
As per UG-13(a) of ASME Sec VIII Div.1, Nut shall engage the threads

4 Nuts and washers shall conform to the requirements in UCS-11. As per UCS-11
(c ) of ASME Sec VIII Div.1, Heavy series nuts shall be used. Threading shall be as
