4.0 ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION

4.1 Customer Perception


The processes by which people select, organize, and interpret information to form a
meaningful picture of the world.

4.2 Corporate level of Walton


R. B. Group of Companies Ltd. is one of the largest registered Limited Company in the
electrical and electronics, automobiles sector in Bangladesh. Walton Hi-Tech Industries
Ltd. - A sister concern of R.B Group is the pioneer of Refrigerator, Freezer, Air
Conditioner and Motorcycle Manufacturing Technology in Bangladesh. They have very
good reputation in the market. Their mainly focus on the consumer satisfaction. Day by
day Walton HIL develops this site. Walton HIL, Corporate Marketing & Sales Section is
very busy department. Every day this department deals with their huge number of clients
and customers. There are target customers organizations. So, they need effective public
relation with them.

4.3 Customers’ perception to products of Walton


Walton HIL is emphasis on the Electric & Electronics and Automobiles and
Telecommunication industry in Bangladesh. Customers’ are also want to products of
Walton better quality, long lasting, nice looking, brand reputation and after sales services.
There have some problem

4.4 Problem Statement


The behavior of customer in purchasing Walton product is unknown.

4.4 Justifications

The behavior of customer in purchasing Walton product is unknown because there are
many branded of products are available in the market and different consumers prefer
different types of product for their household.

4.5 Literature Review


I have already discussed about my report’s topic. As it is based on consumer behavior,
we have to understand what is consumer behavior and things related to it. All these are
described below:

4.5.1 Definition of consumer behavior


Consumer behavior has changed dramatically in the past decade. The term consumer
behavior is defined as the behavior that consumers display in searching for, purchasing,
using, evaluating, and disposing of products and services that they expect will satisfy
their needs.
Consumer behavior focuses on how individuals make decisions to spend their available
resources on consumption related item.

4.5.2 Types of consumer


There are two types of consumer. They are:
 Personal Consumer: Who buy goods or services for his or hers own use, for
the use of households, or as a gift for a friend.
 Organizational Consumer: It means profit and non-profit business,
government agencies, and institutions, all of which must buy products, equipment,
and services in order to run their organizations.
