The “Mapudungún”, is the language of the


“Mapuches” also, is known as “Araucano”
is a very old language, is very important,
because is a part of own culture, most
people who speak this language are
Amerindian, but it is considered an isolated
language

Native people who speak the language call it


“speech of the Earth”, "Mapuchedungun" or
"Manpuchedugun" the Spaniards called it
"Araucano" or "chilidüngu" which
supposedly means the same
