2. what is the drakor about (min 10 sentences)

MR. SUNSHINE itself carries the story of the feudal period in which Korea was colonized by
Japan. The figure of Eugene Choi played by Lee Byung Hun was the Captain of the
American Army who was later stationed in Joseon. He was actually a slave, but at the age of
9 chose to run away and board an American warship.

The main character of this man himself feels more like an American than Joseon (Korea).
Even though he has returned to Joseon, he still doesn't care even though his homeland has
changed.
The attitude of Eugene Choi is exactly the opposite of Go Ae Shin played by Kim Tae Ri, the
woman he likes. Go Ae Shin is a woman who was born in a noble family, she was so in love
with Joseon. He even secretly reads the newspaper and learns to shoot, even though his
grandfather has banned it. The main character of this woman also has an attitude that is so
brave to join the struggle to defend Joseon.

Yoo Yeon Seok who played Gu Dong Mae was also born in a lower class family, before
finally he fled to another country and returned to Joseon after becoming part of the Black
Dragon Society that threatened Joseon. This antagonist figure is also one of the men who fell
in love with Go Ae Shin.

It is not enough for only two men, there is one more character Kim Hee Sung played by Byun
Yo Han. He is from a noble family who returned to Korea after studying in Japan. Kim Hee
Sung himself returned to Joseon with only one goal, namely to get Go Ae Shin's love. The
female character who also attracted attention was Kudo Hina, played by Kim Min Jung. Born
in a pro-Japanese family, he was forced to marry an elderly rich man. After her husband died,
Kudo Hina inherited the Glory Hotel and all of her husband's wealth. There he also stole the
hearts of many rich and clever men who used the moment.

For us this is the BEST DRAMA EVER! There are so many reasons why we should watch
this drama. Anyway great story, great cast, great setting, great cinematography and great
OST.

The genre is action - history - romantic. For those of you who don't like drama thinking,
maybe this drama will feel a bit heavy. But try watching first .. guaranteed to be baper.

The cinematography is really beautiful. It feels like watching a movie, not a drama. Many
scenes are made in slow motion. Although for some people the slow motion scene is rather
disturbing, but for us there lies the beauty. Asli, our eyes are spoiled by this drama. The view
is beautiful. Good fashion. The cultural mix between Korea, Japan and America makes it
even more sip!

This is the first drama to take place in 1900. We have seen many saaaaah dramas ... now this
drama is cool but has gone modern because Western culture has begun to enter. So we will be
spoiled by the beautiful shooting location settings.

This is also the first drama with the most supporting and extra players I have ever seen. There
are many Caucasians ... Japanese ... they also speak English and speak Japanese.

So why did the male lead actor chosen was Lee Byung Hun ?? Because the character Yujin /
Eugene is said to have lived in America for a long time, so he had to be fluent in speaking
English.
Well, we know for ourselves, the Korean spelling of English is rather bad because there are
letters of the alphabet that are not in hangul letters. Meanwhile, Uncle Lee Byung Hun is
really good at his English, he's been poor across the world of Hollywood cinema. His ability
for action scenes is also very good. I don't think there are other Korean actors who are
suitable for playing the character of Eugene Choi. Really good!

Maybe some of you don't know who that om Lee Byung Hun is because he hasn't played
drama for a long time and is more focused on films. And for those of you who are hesitant to
watch this movie because you think that Uncle Lee Byung Hun is the chairman or less
handsome ... hmmm .. in fact he is full of charisma!

Not only Eugene Choi characters that I admire ... Almost all the characters in this drama are
played very fitting by the cast. I can't even choose which character and player I like the most
in this drama.

Even though the age gap between male and female main players is so large, which is a
difference of 20 years, but it has absolutely no effect. Yes, it's just like that ... The chemistry
feels so good too.

Kim Tae Ri, I really like the look in his eyes and speaking style. When the drama premiered,
many Korean netizens also praised his straightforward and classy manner of speaking. Her
eyes are also very sharp, describing the figure of a strong woman.

Yoo Yeon Seok, I really like the style. I never thought Yoo Yeon Seok could be a samurai
that cool ... hehe. The story of his sad life from beginning to end makes my heart like a
pinprick ... it hurts !! I hope he gets a happy ending, but it seems difficult to happen.

Byun Yo Han, according to me, is also very fitting to portray the character of Kim Hui
Seung, the son of a tycoon who is a playboy and gambling friend, and his life is at a level
where he is tired of spree and without challenges. If I say that his acting is somewhat similar
to that of Misaeng's drama, but here he is a bit more mature.

Now if the character Kudo Hina (Glory hotel owner) will initially be played by beautiful &
sexy actress Kim Sarang. But due to reasons for the shooting schedule clash, he withdrew
from the drama and was replaced by actress Kim Min Jung. I was a little disappointed at that
time, because according to me Kim Sarang was going to be really good at playing Kudo
Hina. But it turns out that Kim Min Jung can give a really good aura to the character Kudo
Hina.

There is no flaw in the love story in this drama, for me, this is a masterpiece. Three men, with
different backgrounds in life, love the same woman and all three are willing to sacrifice
everything for love. Although both know that the three of them love the same woman, but
they can be friends and even protect each other.

Honestly, at first I thought they were going to fight over the girls and then fight with each
other like in other dramas, but in this drama it wasn't bok. Even the bromance of the three of
them felt really get it. The characteristic of writer Kim Eun Seok is really, he always gives
bromance that makes baper in all his drama.
There are so many scenes that make my heart touched. When Go Ae Sin found out that the
man she loved turned out to be from the lower class, that crazy was really bad! Ruined
already defense .. tears immediately flowed!

I like how the writer gives a loveline to all characters. Even though the story may be tragic, it
is beautifully packaged. Like the loveline between Go Dong Mae (played by Yoo Yeon Seok)
and Go Ae Sin (played by Kim Tae Ri), I like the plot where Go Dong Mae asks Go Ae Sin
to pay the debt in stages ... because it is a way so that he can continue to meet the woman he
loves and he can also make sure that Go Ae Sin is still alive.

I like how Kim Hui Seung (played by Byun Yo Han) can always be the last savior for Go Ae
Sin. Even though Go Ae Sin doesn't love him, Kim Hui Seung can accept it coolly and he
offered to be a shelter for Go Ae Sin. I don't want him to die ... Sob!

And I was surprised because apparently all this time the man who was loved by Kudo Hina
was Go Dong Mae!

In fact, the loveline between loyal Go Ae Sin servants can make me baper. Especially in the
ending episode 23 when they were both shot dead ... it was tragic ... but beautiful.

There are so many dialogues written so brilliantly by writernim. For example, Go Ae Sin who
was never able to unite with Eugene said "Don't come to me even in dreams. This is very
painful. I want to stop thinking about you for at least one day."

I also like the phrase "Don't say 'goodbye' ... but say 'see you .. see you again'". Because
separation is very painful, so say see you again so that there is hope to be able to meet again.

At the beginning of the episode, this drama got a protest from a circle because almost all the
main characters in this drama were depicted not loving Korea. Eugene Choi, Kudo Hina, Kim
Hui Sung and Go Dong Mae ... they are native to Korea but they hate Korea. And the plot
twist is that those who have lost their sense of nationalism towards Korea finally dare to
sacrifice their lives for Korean independence.

Although this drama is pretty heavy, there are also lots of funny scenes and dialogues, you
know. Like when Go Ae Sin learned English ... and Eugene Choi learned to read / write
Hangul letters. Then the bromance between the three cool names, the masterpiece is their
bromance ... funny!

For the ending, according to me this is the best ending. Yes yes, this drama is a story in the
colonial era. If it is seasoned with kissing or romantic scenes, I think it will damage the
beauty of this drama. I am quite satisfied with the ending. Eugene sacrificed himself to save
the woman who prefers to save his country. Terbaiq.

As for the OST, Kim Eun Seok's drama drama besides presenting a neat storyline and good
visuals, is also always accompanied by an OST that sets in the soul.
