Is it better to go on holiday with your family than your friends?

Every human being will choose going on holidays since everybody like to relax, to learn new
cultures, to visit new cities ...Holidays are an awesome way to do this but, we have to decide
with whom to travel.

Holidays with family can be hard work. Not everybody in the family wants to do the same
things. In my own family, Dad always wants to go to see the city centre, Mum and sister want
to shop, and I want to go to a coffee shop and sit down. Travelling with family can be very
cheap or even free, though, if parents pay.

Holidays with friends are not usually as cheap but money always plays an important role. It is
normal for everyone to have different budgets and there needs to be a lot of compromise,
from where you stay to where you eat. This inevitably causes problems. Nonetheless,
travelling with friends can be incredible fun.

Personally, I prefer travelling with friends as I can; somehow, be more free and I can decide
what I want to visit.
Every university student should plan to spend at least one semester abroad

Nowadays almost every university have the option of travelling abroad and studying in a
foreign country a semester of your degree. There are different opinions about travelling
abroad so in this essay we will discuss these arguments.

Students who decide not to spend a semester in a foreign country often argue that stay abroad
is useless and consumes valuable time. Especially, students who plan to work the rest of their
lives in their home country often see no sense in going abroad during their studies.

On the other hand, the benefits of staying abroad are to enhance language skills and
experience different learning environments. For instance, I spent a week in Brighton. Spending
only one week in England, helped me to gain fluency. This clearly shows that staying abroad
enhances language skills. Moreover, staying abroad helps to become more independent. Only
if students are pushed out of their comfort zone they are able to develop.

In conclusion, after considering both sides, it is clear that travelling abroad is a valuable
experience. It allows students to learn new languages and offers unique experiences.
