Gian Maryk P. Tagura was born in Bangued Abra. He attended his elementary school in
Holy Spirit Academy of Bangued. During his elementary school he was a member of the
boy scout of the Philippines for 3 years. He transferred to Saint Joseph Seminary during
his 1st and 2nd year of high school, he participated in the SANGKAN (Isang Angkan Kay
Kristo) which is a tournament consisting of seminarians gathering to compete in sports
outdoor and indoor, he was awarded the gold medal and became champion in the game
of GG (games of the generals). After his 1st and 2nd year of high school he transferred to
Divine Word College of Bangued. During his 3 rd year and 4th year in DWCB he became
an instrumentalists and a member of the knights of the altar, after completing his high
school at Divine Word College of Bangued. Maryk entered Far Eastern University in
Nicanor Reyes St, Sampaloc, Manila. He enrolled Bachelor of Science in medical
technology but after two years he shifted to Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He is a
former intern at Concentrix UP Ayala Technohub during his industrial internship, and he
spent his clinical internship at Full House Custodial Care Center. And now he is
currently fascinated in examining their research with his group mates about the lived
experiences of fathers of children diagnosed with ASD
