T he Mueller Side-Out Fitting offers an eco-
nomical way to overcome obstacles in by-pass
operations such as shallow bedrock beneath the
line or interference from other utilities.
Together with our bottom-out fittings, it allows
new flexibility in line placement. The fitting is
compatible with existing Mueller No-Blo® Line
Stopping System components and lets you
maintain the safety and integrity that has made
our system the industry standard for decades.
Expanded Capabilities
Mueller Side-Out Fittings can be used for
extensions, crossovers, tie-ins, relocations and
lateral connections at the centerline of existing
pipelines ranging from 3" to 12". The fittings
are available for thin wall and standard wall
pipe in various flange classes. They get
around by-pass obstacles without compromising
quality and safety.
Less Excavation
Same plane connections require less ditch depth,
reducing excavation time. In many instances,
reduced depth will eliminate the need for
shoring, saving both materials and labor costs.
