‘Learning about other cultures makes people more respectful.’

How could you test this claim? You may consider the types of information, sources of evidence or
methods you might use.

Ans: I would test this claim by firstly researching people’s attitude regarding their willingness in terms of
learning about other cultures. More research could be done by looking over the statistics of the effect of
getting knowledge about culture on individual’s behavior. Reports from governments and other
institutions working with social attitudes could be reviewed to test this claim, further information could
be taken from internet which would attain us with sufficient material. I would conduct interviews from
experts in this field, eg: sociologists, workers in travel agencies, different government personnels, this
would give genuine as well as reliable data. Questionnaires in form of surveys would be held by frequent
travelers or people in airports returning from trips of different countries, providing us with the point of
views of common men. There are many youtubers and travel bloggers found on social media which can
be interviewed for their personal experience on the given topic. Through all these measures and ways
testing this claim would not be difficult.
