Target Participants : City ENRO Personnel (Office-Based and Program Heads)

RATIONALE:
Over the past years, there were various significant works that has been accomplished by the Office of the City Environment
and Natural Resources through its four (4) core divisions namely: Planning, Research and Administration, Regulatory and Law
Enforcement, Solid Waste Management and Extension Services Division. Almost all of it was incorporated in the objective-based-
frameworks of the office in its city’s environmental management and development in order to establish an innovative system that
strengthens the capacity of the office to implement its mandates addressing different environmental concerns.
While the target priorities, outcomes and activities are well evaluated and achieved according to the plans set out by the
Office, there are still challenges that remains to be an area of focus to carry out more accomplishments towards attaining a well-
balanced and healthful ecology. The following are the priority activities that will be systematically discussed and planned by the various
divisions of the City ENRO for this year 2018:

a) Monitoring of City’s Air and Water Quality Management

b) Strengthened Solid Waste, Wastewater and Chemicals Management Implementation
c) Capability Trainings on Pollution Incident Management and Response
d) Immediate Environmental Impact and Assessment
e) Parks Conservation and Sustainable Resources Management
f) Human-Centered Marine and Coastal Management

These targets will result to a more comprehensive environmental protection and conservation programs of the City as well as
in the protection of public health. The degree of enforcement of national or local policies and regulations will also be emphasized, and
must be pursued as a matter of urgency for the city’s environmental development.

OBJECTIVE/S OF THE ACTIVITY:

1. To establish and develop a comprehensive environmental management plans and other priority targets for the City ENRO’s four
divisions.

METHODOLOGIES:
1. Coordinate with the City Mayor and City Budget Office for the budget allocation;
2. Coordinate with the management of SECDEA Beach Resort for the arrangement of accommodation of the City ENRO personnel.
3. Prepare necessary materials needed for the planning and conference.

BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS: Php 132, 500.00

EXPECTED OUTPUTS:
1. Submit or endorse proposed environmental plans and programs per divisions of the City ENRO to the Local Chief Executive.

SOURCE OF FUNDS: (6522) – TRAVELLING EXPENSE (9 pax) = Php 22, 500.00

(8731) – TRAVELLING EXPENSE (44 pax) = Php 110, 000.00
