Cause

Root cause is still being investigated - further testing in progress.

Resolution

Incorrect BIOS Boot Order

1. Remove computer from docking station


2. Disconnect all peripherals
3. Connect ​Power Cord​ to ​wall outlet​ and c​omputer
4. Remove ​Windows Boot Manager​ from Boot Priority Options:
○ Toshiba
1. Power on computer
2. Toshiba logo appears
1. Press ​F2 repeatedly​ until boot menu appears

3. Press ​F9​ to ​Setup Defaults
4. Click ​Yes ​to confirm

6. Press ​Down Arrow​ three times to highlight ​Advanced
7. Press ​Right arrow​ key to move to middle menu
8. Click ​Change Boot Order
9. Use arrow keys to highlight ​Windows Boot Manager​ i​ n the ​Boot
Priority Options

11. Click ​Move Down​ until ​Windows Boot Manager​ ​is at the bottom of
the list
12. Use arrow keys to highlight ​HDD/SSD​ ​in the Boot Priority Options
13. Click ​Move UP​ until ​HD/SSD​ ​is at the top of the list
14. Click ​OK
15. Press ​F10​ to ​Save and Exit
16. Select YES on Save Settings and press ​Enter
○ Lenovo
1. Power on Computer
2. Lenovo logo appears
1. Press ​F12​ repeatedly until ​Boot Menu​ appears
2. Press ​Tab ​to move highlight ​App Menu

1. Use arrow keys to highlight ​Correct Device
2. Press ​+​ until ​Correct Device​ is at top of ​Boot Priority Order​ list
13. Press ​F10​ to ​Save and Exit
14. Use the arrow keys to highlight ​YES
15. Press ​Enter​ to ​Save configuration changes and exit now?
● Windows boots normally, Issue Resolved
● Windows does not boot normally, click ​Submit Ticket​ for support
