 INTRODUCTION
• This instruction manual explains the procedures for operating and maintaining the DI Print and
Data Writing Service for Fujifilm Digital Minilab FRONTIER 330/350/370/390 SLP800-SC,
SP1500/SP2000/SP2500 and LP1500SC/LP2000SC/LP2500P as well as precautions for its use.

• To ensure proper use and optimum performance of the FUJIFILM DIGITAL IMAGING PRINT
SERVICE system, read this manual thoroughly.

• This manual should be kept in a fixed place near the machine so that it can be referred to any
time a point needs to be clarified.

 1 NEW FUNCTIONS

1.1 Function and Quality Improvement

• Readiness for Exif Print

Adaptable to the newly introduced CR (Customer Rendered) tag. The CR tag is designed for
use in prohibiting the processing of images on the printer side as intended by the
photographer and instructions regarding restriction. When the value of the CR tag is ON, no
image processing will be performed at the discretion of the photographer.

In usual DI service, many images do not have a CR tag or the CR tag is OFF. As for these
images, the same Auto Correction as before is done.

 2 INSTALLING PROCEDURE

Same as that for C4/C5 Ver.4.5.

Install Ver.4.6 on Imaging Controller and FRONTIER.

If the following software programs have not yet been installed, they should be installed in advance.

 3 OPERATING PROCEDURE

The procedure for ExifPrint-ready CR tag processing is described below.

3.1 Order Acceptance

3.1.1 Digital Camera Print Service

If a CR tag is present on the image selected when setting images in the usual manner, a
checkbox is displayed as shown in the figure below.
Checking ( √ ) the box deactivates the CR tag-based processing function in units of order.
The default is "unchecking the box." In this case, the CR tag-based processing function is
activated.

3.1.2 DPOF

If a CR tag is present on the image within the order, a checkbox is displayed as shown in the
figure below.
Checking ( √ ) the box deactivates the CR tag-based processing function in units of order.
The default is "unchecking the box." In this case, the CR tag-based processing function is
activated.

 3.1.3 List Display Test Screen

If a CR tag is present on the image within the order, the CR tag-based processing function
can be activated or deactivated in units of image.
The default is "unchecking the box." In this case, the CR tag-based processing function is
activated.

3.2 CR Tag Processing and Back Print

3.2.1 CR Tag Processing

The CR tag value is printed on the second line.

For DPOF, the following characters are printed following "DPOF."
