Infographic: Public Awareness

Instructions:
Step 1: Choose one of any topics that listed below:
• Digital Lifestyle
• Computer Security
• Database

From the chosen topic, discuss in your group to finalise the relevant title for your infographic.

What is the objective of your infographic?

The objective of the infographic is to cultivate specific self-awareness among Malaysian
towards digital lifestyle, computer security and ‘big data’ concept in today’s lifestyle.

Example:
Topic: Using the Internet
Infographic Title: The ‘Do’ and ‘Don’t’ Checklist as Today’s Internet User.

Step 2: Register your topic, title, and group members.

✓Registration will be opened on 10 September 2019. Title is based on first come first serve basic.
✓Group members maximum is 3.
✓Please ensure that each group choose different self-awareness title.

Step 3: Design an infographic that is relevant to the infographic title that your group have chosen.
The infographic size is depending on you. (Relevant to print out and publish online).

Step 4: Prepare, and hand-in your Infographic: Public Awareness report into Google Classroom.

What information should you include in your group report?

✓Report cover page: MMU Logo, subject code & name, trimester, project name,
infographic title, members’ full name & ID, lecturer’s name (Refer attachment given)

✓Preliminary Study: Prepare a very brief but clear description of what the report is all
about, summarising your plan, your initial research study or project process have been
done. Keep your writing not more than 100 words or in one page.
 ✓Infographic Design: Put your infographic design. If the size too big, you must just resize
it to fit the A4 size. Please make sure you print the original size for final project
presentation.

✓References: List of URL addresses, reference books, bibliography entries, or any

references your group have referred.

✓Appendices: Put minimum - 2 meeting minutes of your group. Please use the standard
template – meeting minutes as follows.

Step 5: Submit and present your Infographic: Public Awareness.

Report submission: 30th September 2019 (Monday)
Submit – Hardcopy & Softcopy
For Hardcopy submission, items to submit:
o DCE1003 Front Cover & Project Details.doc (as attached)
o DCE1003 Final project evaluation.doc (as attached)
 Make sure everyone signs on the final project evaluation.
o DCE1003 Final Project - Division of Work (as attached)
 Make sure everyone signs on the division of work form.
** All these THREE items must – PRINT & COMB BINDING all together.

• Infographic presentation:
• Print out the original size of your group infographic design.
• Presentation day: 30th September 2019 (Monday)
