In the study of “Relationship between parenting style and Children’s Behavior Problems”.2011.

Children’s behavioral
problems is a pattern of disruptive behaviors in children that last for at least 6 months and cause of problems in
school, at home and in social situation. Nearly everyone shows some of these behaviors at times. On 1991,
Achenback and his students manage many students using the Children’s Behavioral Check list as a survey to
indicate children’s behavioral problems. The problems are related to anxiety, depression and physical complaints
are identify as internalization problems, especially problems including violence, rebelliousness, disobedience and
drug use to classify as externalization ones (Phares,2003). The family is a socio-cultural-economic arrangement that
apply the significant influence on children’s behavior and the process of starting to experience of their personality
(Baumrind, 1991). Any lack of knowledge of parents may show cause to unwanted damaging effects on children’s
growth and after that it can also create bad behavior problems in children. (Baumrind 1978).Definitely parenting
behaviors, such as physical punishments may change children’s development and consequently effect behavioral
disorders in them.

According to Baumrind (1967) Classify parents base on two measurements, the quality of reacting of positively and
requiring much skill or effort. The responsiveness and demanding has three different kinds of parenting styles.
Authorative parenting style, it is a parenting style that characterized by high responsiveness and high demands.
Authoritative parents are responsive to the child’s emotional needs while having high standards. They set limits and
they are very consistent in forcing boundaries, have good emotional regulation and self control. Authoritarian style
has a low responsiveness and high demanding. Permissive style, is is a type of parenting style that characterized by
low demands with high responsiveness. Permissive parents tend to be very loving, yet provide few guidelines and
rules. These parents do not expect mature behavior from their children and often seem more like a friend than a
parental figure. Authoritative style has high responsiveness and high demanding in parenting behavior has been
shown directly to the less children’s misbehavior and symptoms. Base on Baumrind parenting style model theory.
Different kinds of parenting style lead to children’s behavioral problems. However much work has been done abouth
his variable.

However, studies are more needed for childrens to understand the relationship between parenting and
chilndren’s misbehavior. (1991) They officially announce that parents who are authoritative are much better than
authoritarian parents, especially in helping the process of developing from a child into an adult to keep away from
problems related with drugs. Furthermore , consistent utilization of external reinforcements and to focus on
conformity to authority and to lessen adolescents well-informed of competence, condition of being self-sufficient,
intense and eager to achieve. However, Harper (2010) announce that increasing authoritative fathering are also
involved with increased internalizing problems, like sadness, can cause the problems to grow into larger burdens
such as social withdraw, suicidal behaviors or thoughts, and other unexplained physical symptoms. Williams et al.
(2009) declared that having a high authoritative parenting was connected with tendencies in internalizing
symptoms of children. Also (2009) stablish , that authoritative parenting are not associated with children’s
adjustment. Moreover, it was described that regulate one’s emotions, thoughts, and behavior in face of temptations
and impulses skills were surely correlated with authoritative parenting. This study showed that the school styles is
same with the results as parenting styles. Therefore, the authoritative schools explain the best result and indifferent
schools where represent the worst outcome from difficult position or situation.

Synthesis:

The relationship between parent and child’s is among the most significant in a person’s life. Positive parent
and child’s relationship are important for all areas of children’s development. By being in the moment, spending
quality time and showing warmth care and respect, you can strengthen your relationship with a parent and child,to
feel that they are still part of a family even though they are adopted, the behavior of child must be start on
parents because if they will thought them how to be a responsible child, the children will understand
everything why he/she is adopted.
