INTERESTING EXPERIENCE
Hello
My best experience was on the field trip to the city of Medellín, where we went with
my eleventh-grade schoolmates. On the first day of the excursion, we attended the
El Castillo Museum in the morning, where we were able to observe many relics of
the city, and in the afternoon we went to the Arvi Park, where we enjoyed the
natural wealth and rode bicycles; on the second day we attended the Plaza de
Botero where we contemplated the sculptures of Fernando Botero, where they
narrated the history of the city of Medellín and in the afternoon we visited the
Pueblito paisa, an exotic place full of the Antioquia culture where we dined the
Popular "Calentado de Frijol". On the third and last day we made a tour of the
Guatapé Lagoon where we got to know the place and we practiced water games
all day.
During the three days of the excursion we enjoyed the beautiful culture of the city
of Medellín, but above all its typical dishes such as the paisa tray, the arepa, the
sancocho, the Calentado de Frijol and the mondongo, which are very delicious
dishes that represent in a good way the region and Colombia.
To conclude, the city of Medellín is an excellent city surrounded by spectacular
places, also its customs and gastronomy is unique in the world, but what I liked the
most was the culture of the people and the beauty of their women.
