OBJECTIVE
Pursuing a transition from the traditional direct instruction model to one that encompasses
technology as a way to engage students and transform their ability to learn mathematics at the High

Instruct and develop mathematics courses for secondary students with varying levels of intellectual
abilities and English language acquisition; ESOL, ELL, and IEL. Following the course of study
and standards adopted by the Board of Education for courses under GSE (Honors Geometry, Honors
Algebra II and Accelerated GeometryB/Algebra II). Implement instructional program guidelines and
other materials in the planning and developing of lesson plans for the classroom. Facilitate a variety
of methods in teaching and instructing pupils, including lectures, demonstrations, discussions and
peer teaching experiences. Collect, discuss and use Data to aid with guiding and outlining the
students learning process. Adapt and clarify instruction as needed. In addition to planning,
developing, and utilizing a variety of instructional materials and aids, both online and in the
classroom, appropriate to the intellectual and instructional level of students from varied socio-
economic and cultural backgrounds. Establish Google Classroom to compile and post what is
covered in class daily, in addition to reviews and helpful websites that students can access as needed
as an additional resource to help gain mastery of the content currently being covered. This is in
addition to using school provided website to communicate calendars (outlining; daily topics,
announced quizzes and tests) for each course along with vital information to parents and students
regarding tutoring hours, syllabi, etc. Analyze submitted work to attain individual strengths and areas
requiring improvement. Establish and supervise plans designed based on individual areas requiring
improvement. Coordinate with team-mates in PLC meetings pertaining to recommendations,
coaching, and presenting of upcoming materials. Administer End of Course and Student Learning
Objectives for relevant courses taught.
