CONTRACT AGREEMENT FORM

Between
The village of Tabia represented by the President of the village Women’s Club herein
after called the Employer of the one part
and
Of…………………………………………………………………………………………………
Herein called the Contractor of the other part.
Whereas the employer is desirous that certain works would be executed by the
Contractor viz:
CONTRACT NO TEC CONSTRUCTION OF A 70M x 30M COMMUNITY HALL &
EVACUATION CENTRE AS APPRAISED AND approved by the Commissioner Northern
Division has accepted an offer for the execution and completion of such works and the
remedying of any defects therein.
(1) In this Agreement, words and expressions shall have the same meaning as one
respectively assigned to them in the conditions of Contract hereinafter referred to.

(2) The following document shall be deemed to form and be read and construed as part of
this agreement viz:

(a) The said offer

(b) General conditions of contract and special conditions.
(c) Technical Specifications
(d) Material Schedule
(e) All correspondences

(3) In consideration of the payment to be made by the employer to the contractor as

provided in the General Conditions of Contract, the Contractor hereby covenants with
the Employer to execute and complete the items of works and remedy and defects
therein in conformity with all respects with provisions of the Contract.

(4) The Employer hereby covenants to pay the Contractor in consideration for the execution
and completion of the items of works and the remedying of defects herein or such seems
as may become payable under the provisions of contract at the times and in the manner
prescribed by the Contract.
IN WITNESS WHEREOFF the parties hereto have executed this Agreement on the day and
year first herein before written.
SIGNED for and on behalf of the Tabia Village Group by the President, Tabia Village
Evacuation Centre and Community Hall.
