9 Sacred Sword (Bet Now: $4.80) on top for me.

Tony McEvoy trained son of Exceed And Exceel that looks quite
precocious and ready to go off the back of a recent Flemington jump out where he was on speed throughout and
even though he was pressured, he found, and that for me is always a good sign. Plus Luke Currie chooses him over
the stablemate.

DANGER
7 Grand Challenge (Bet Now: $9.50) is a son of Not A Single Doubt on debut for the Mick Price team. This Sun
Bloodstock colt trialled at Cranbourne on September 4 where he looked to do everything right to my eye, showing
gate speed, holding the rail, and despite being niggled, he looked to travel nicely. He can go close.

LONG SHOT
4 Diver (Bet Now: $19.00) is a stablemate of Sacred Sword who contested the same jump out as the stablemate. He
was ridden by Olly and the colt wasn’t asked to do much. Out the back most of the way, not under much pressure
and went to the line nicely. Has to improve off that to trouble the stablemate, but I’ll include him in exotics.

2 Split Lip (Bet Now: $7.00) is absolutely flying this prep for the Will Clarken yard. Excellent effort two back down the
straight at Flemington before going to the Scarborough at the Valley where she was run off her legs early but her last
250m was outstanding. Deserves a decent win and she gets a great chance here I feel.

DANGER
3 Jorda (Bet Now: $4.60) was excellent off a long layoff fresh in the San Domenico behind Pariah before racing down
the straight in the Cap D’Antibes where she was the first horse beat and a flop behind Fox Swift. Happy to put that
down to second up syndrome and giving her another look back around a bend.

LONG SHOT
7 Je Suis Tycoon (Bet Now: $28.00) should be forgiven for her first up loss at Mornington a fortnight back. She was
back near the rail in a leader dominated affair and being fresh, she just didn’t have the grounding to match it with
them late when third to Ultra Smart. Has the run under the belt now, home track and does draw to get good cover and
launch late.

BACK ME
1 Legless Veuve (Bet Now: $3.00) had no real market support when resuming in the How Now and if you were on at
the odds, it was just a fair dinkum nightmare to watch. Just had no luck at all in the straight and she, along with Ravi,
should have fought the finish out. Tipping her to run a beauty here second up.

DANGER
8 Pedrena (Bet Now: $10.00) is a quality mare that resumes for the Mick Price team. This ran in the latter part of the
Autumn and early Spring and did a fab job for connections, winning a couple in town and the form out those wins via
Fragonard and Samovare mainly has been excellent. Recent jump out was encouraging, and she does find a very
winnable race here if she is forward enough.

LONG SHOT
7 Overstep (Bet Now: $16.00) is a talented mare that is first up for the Chris Waller team. This mare ran really well
during the Melbourne Winter, mainly down the Flemington straight, with her highlight being a win over 1100m before
a down the track effort in the Creswick. Trial back in Sydney was good and she goes well fresh.

BACK ME
8 Gallic Chieftain (Bet Now: $5.00) looks such a silly price to me at near double figures. Took the $11 all in because
he is going much better than what that price suggests. First up run behind Hardham was a beauty before going to the
JRA Cup where the bias was against him yet he still finished off with purpose late behind Jon Snow. Caulfield 2400m
is perfect and is right down in the weights.

DANGER
2 Boom Time (Bet Now: $7.00) also comes through the JRA Cup at the Valley on Moir night where he ran a beauty I
thought without a great deal of luck at a crucial stage. Just got slightly held up when appearing to be full of running
and when clear, he finished off nicely to run third to Jon Snow. 2400m is ideal and unbeaten at Caulfield.

LONG SHOT
I think 1 Wall Of Fire (Bet Now: $10.00) has to be respected enormously here. Five year old trained by Hugo Palmer
who last ran in the Geoffrey Freer during the Newbury Carnival and was a bit unlucky not to beat Defoe, who took his
running 300m out and that stopped the momentum of Wall Of Fire. He has the class edge…just want to see a market
push.

Giving 10 Oregon’s Day (Bet Now: $7.00) another look here. Mick Price trained mare who won well two back over
1400m at Caulfield before racing in the Let’s Elope where nothing really went right for her and it was a total forgive
behind Sword Of Light. Draws to get decent cover here and launch late.

DANGER
I think 2 Religify (Bet Now: $4.40) sets up perfectly here. Chris Waller trained veteran who rarely puts in a bad one
and is first up here. He is a bomb when produced first up and he looked pretty good to me in a trial last month at
Rosehill behind She Will Reign in fast time, and that trial form has clearly stood up. Looks the leader and will give a
bold sight.

LONG SHOT
13 Mongolian Wolf (Bet Now: $11.00) is a smart horse that resumes for the Weir camp and Australian Bloodstock.
He had a few runs for Weir from NZ and his efforts were solid without being spectacular. 1400m is clearly short of his
best but he does have a bit of class/quality about him and should be respected.

BACK ME
I think 1 Shoals (Bet Now: $4.00) is a really good bet here. Outstanding/arrogant first up win in the Atlantic Jewel
before going to the Prelude where she sat back in a slowly run race, got going before the turn and was a bit flat when
Booker sprinted but got within a long neck of that girl. They look the key pair and Shoals has the upside and the
ability to run the mile.

DANGER
2 Alizee (Bet Now: $2.20) does look the obvious threat and the one to beat. Her form recently in Sydney has been
outstanding, winning the Tea Rose and Flight with such class and authority. The key to her is relaxing and riding her
cold, and then she can unleash a turn of foot. There is a hint of her possibly going to the Cox Plate if she wins here,
and her work on Tuesday morning was outstanding.

LONG SHOT
6 Leather’n’lace (Bet Now: $13.00) is the interesting one here. Darren Weir trained filly who took a sit last week in
the Edward Manifold and it probably backfired in the end as she didn’t have anything left in the finish behind Bring Me
Roses. I expect Lane to punch her to the lead here, control things and take some running down.

See no reason to jump off 11 Bonneval (Bet Now: $3.00). Star mare for the Baker/Forsman team who scored a
dominant win first up in the Dato before going to the Underwood (1800m) here where she was the first off the bit but
she finished best, and comfortably under Bowman to cement herself as the one to beat in the Caulfield Cup. This
should be an ideal tune up.

DANGER
I wouldn’t sack 1 Hartnell (Bet Now: $3.40) just yet. I was all over him in the Underwood, but the tactics just amazed
me. Yes they said they were opting for cover…but not to sit last in the run. That isn’t his style. He needs to be in the
first half of the field. If they are more positive here, they can definitely turn the tables on the mare.

LONG SHOT
Another who will use this as a clean out for the Caulfield Cup is 7 Inference (Bet Now: $20.00). His first two runs this
time in were average at best but he was much better in the Underwood. Was off the bit a fair way out but stuck on
really well and was good to the line and through it. Couldn’t back him to win either here or next week, but he should
run well all the same.

BACK ME
I think this race just sets up perfectly for 11 Kementari (Bet Now: $5.50). He has been a highly talked up 3YO for
Godolphin who dodged the Golden Rose after the Run To The Rose, instead racing in the Prelude where he sat off
the pace and ran a mighty second to Perast. He has the upside, so I’m confident he turns the tables, and that looks
the main form reference.

DANGER
Enormous respect to 16 Catchy  (Bet Now: $4.50). Star filly for the Hayes/Dabernig team who ran in the Prelude for
the girls and given the way that race was run, she was excellent I thought when a close up third to Booker. Racing as
if she wants a mile, and she will get it here, a fast run mile also. Big ticks.

LONG SHOT
I think the somewhat forgotten 3YO here is the Waterhouse/Bott trained colt 7 Gold Standard (Bet Now: $8.00). He
gave them a galloping lesson in the Stan Fox before going to the Golden Rose where he did a power of work on
speed in a brutally run affair and stuck on really well behind Trapeze Artist. He will eat up a hard mile here and has
that Tulloch Lodge polish.

BACK ME
My girl 9 Egg Tart (Bet Now: $5.00) to win the Toorak and confirm her status as one of the best in Australia. I thought
her run was outstanding first up in the Theo Marks. Ran second in a race where they ran the track record and she
was making up really good ground. Just ran out of condition late behind Deploy. Feather weight, upside, and she
trialled well last week. Keen on her, as always.
DANGER
10 Mr Sneaky (Bet Now: $8.50) deserves a Group l win and he gets his chance here. Rupert Clarke effort was
outstanding. Sat near the hot speed all the way under Avdulla, who rode him a treat mind you. Got out, looked home
but the stablemate Santa Ana Lane, who was put to sleep out the back, savaged the line. No qualms for mine at the
mile, he has the form on the board and he clearly saves his best for Caulfield.

LONG SHOT
I think the big watch here is 11 Omei Sword (Bet Now: $12.00). She’s been racing okay this time in without winning
and while on face value, her Pendant run was fair, looking back, it was very good because that form was to the fore in
the Angst and this mare, she will love a truly run race and getting weight relief. I think she’s right in this.

Giving 6 Hellbent (Bet Now: $7.50) one last chance here to prove himself as a top tier sprinter. Disappointed me big
time fresh in the McEwen behind Russian Revolution before racing over this track/distance a tick under two weeks
ago where he sat off the pace and once he peeled out, he looked a threat but he failed to go on with it and just died
on the run. Should be ready third up and this is D-Day.

DANGER
9 Sheidel (Bet Now: $3.40) is a top mare for the Hayes/Dabernig team who did an unbelievable job I thought in the
Moir. Led at a brutal speed with severe pressure on her outside, running some freak early splits. Had every right to
drop out but she kept finding under pressure and was only caught the final 50m. Won’t get as much pressure here
and up to 1100m is perfect.

LONG SHOT
11 Super Cash (Bet Now: $4.40) is an Andrew Noblet trained mare that resumes here. She is borderline top class
and this prep could well be the making of her. Just only to have remind yourself she bolted up at this track/distance
fresh last prep beating I Am A Star and Chautauqua. Bomb when produced first up and she does tick a f

12 Don’t Give A Damn (Bet Now: $3.00 BOOSTED ODDS) is the best horse in the race by a mile, but the barrier is
a bit of a concern for him. Big win last time out at Rosehill when spanking them by six and should take plenty of
improvement from that run. He is a very nice horse who id destined to better races.

DANGER
I reckon 10 Cascata Rossa (Bet Now: $11.00) can give this a shake for Matty Dunn. Was quite keen on him here last
Saturday over the mile and seemingly, he had his chance when nutted by stablemate Bronzed Venom but for mine
he just got left in front too early and was a sitting shot. If he stalks and has near last say, back to 1400m, he can go
really close.

LONG SHOT
I like that Mack Griffith is backing up 13 Schedule (Bet Now: $14.00) seven days later. He ran in the Highway here
last Saturday and for mine he was a total forgive. Just got too far back in a race dominated by those near the
speed/rail. If the rain comes, he’s a serious threat, but even without that, he should be given a chance from the paint.

7 Legend Of Condor (Bet Now: $5.00) is a Not A Single Doubt colt on debut for the Gerald Ryan team. Was quite
impressed by this boy and what he produced last Tuesday in a trial win at Rosehill. Led all the way and bolted up
under Josh Parr, running 53.3, which was clearly the quickest of the 2YO trials that morning. Confident he can go
close.

DANGER
2 Spin (Bet Now: $4.60) was kept quite safe in the market when debuting in the Breeders Plate and I thought the
Team Snowden trained colt did a really good job in defeat when fourth to Performer after getting back in the run.
Closed off well late, so with that experience under the belt, he should be better off, and experience in these early
juvenile races is a big tick.

LONG SHOT
9 Stunts (Bet Now: $13.00) is a well bred Lonhro colt for Godolphin and James Cummings. He comes through the
Rosehill trial last week won by Legend Of Condor and I thought he was an eye catcher. Was under a bit of pressure
from Angland early in the straight but he did quicken before Angland put the brakes on over the final 200m and he
moved quite well I thought. Interesting to see what he does here.

7 Workdrinks (Bet Now: $4.80) is a smart filly for the Brad Widdup yard who could easily measure up here without
surprising. Thought her effort the other day at Rosehill was full of merit when chasing an above average type in
Demerara. Randwick 1400m looks ideal and there is good speed here, so she’ll get her chance to run on.

DANGER
1 Regimen (Bet Now: $3.70) is a smart filly for Godolphin and James Cummings who hasn’t raced since September
20 at Warwick Farm where she took on the older mares and despite being first under pressure, she was last woman
standing and surged hard to win. Trialled up really well last week at Rosehill and this isn’t a strong contest.

LONG SHOT
3 Aonair (Bet Now: $6.00) is a daughter of Fastnet Rock for Chris Waller who resumed with a top maiden win over
1400m at Warwick Farm before racing over 1300m at Rosehill where she was parked behind the speed and just
lacked the turn of foot to go with them but the effort was sound when fourth to Beau Geste. Back up to 1400m and
onto a bigger track, third up, looks an ideal scenario for this girl.

11 Suncraze (Bet Now: $3.60) looks the obvious way to go. Smart galloper who can have a mind of his own but he is
starting to put it all together now off the back of some confidence, winning his last two impressively. Been freshened
up since last start but has been tuned up with a very sharp trial win. Randwick 1400m off a fast speed looks perfect.

DANGER
8 Pumpkin Pie (Bet Now: $3.20) looks the obvious threat. Danny Williams trained mare who faces the easiest race
she has contested since nearly her debut. All three of her runs this time in have been good without winning, and last
time in the Premiere behind In Her Time, she was clearly outclassed. Looks well placed here.

LONG SHOT
14 Not For Export (Bet Now: $67.00) is the clear overs in this race for mine. Dar Lunn trained gelding who can have
a bad racing pattern but when he gets things to suit, he a can unleash, like he did last time out over 1400m at Dubbo
when working home with purpose late behind Galaxy Warrior. He meets that horse 3kg better off here, loves the
Randwick 1400m…the $51 all in looked good overs so I’m surprised he’s opened $61 final field.

CLAIM

BACK ME
10 Jaminzah (Bet Now: $9.50) gets the nod for me. Freshened up after a luckless run here before going to Warwick
Farm last Monday over 1400m where he took his time to get there but he finished best under hard riding from
Bowman to get the win. Back up to the mile is ideal, has upside and the form on the board.

DANGER
8 Oklahoma Girl (Bet Now: $6.00) looks the knockout chance at odds. Chris Waller trained mare who resumed over
1400m at Rosehill and I loved the way she closed off late in the piece when third to stablemate Wayanka. That form
has been franked big time via Interlocuter, plus Galaxy Warrior and Got Unders winning. Trial since was good, up to
the mile suits and if we do get a drop of rain, she’s a massive chance.

LONG SHOT
I think the big improver here is 4 Harper’s Choice (Bet Now: $10.00). The form guide doesn’t read great, but look at
what he has been racing against this time…top class company, most notably. Trialled up really well last week, he
gets the blinkers for the first time, back to the mile, and a drop of rain will really help.

RACE 6. (15:00) HEINEKEN 3 ST LEGER STAKES 2600M

BACK ME
4 Who Shot Thebarman (Bet Now: $5.00) for me. Tough, tough campaigner for Chris Waller who has been excellent
in three runs back from a break. Just lacked the turn of foot to go with them when they sprinted in the Metropolitan a
fortnight back but he stuck on really well and was good to the line and through it. 2600m is ideal and he should take
some beating.

DANGER
1 Libran (Bet Now: $5.50) gave them a galloping less two back in the Kingston Town hence why he started fav in the
Metropolitan and for mine, he had his chance when sixth to Foundry, but perhaps being a handicap, he couldn’t
sprint. Set weights suits him perfectly here and he gets Bowman.

LONG SHOT
Up in trip, I’m expecting big improvement from 5 Havana Cooler (Bet Now: $26.00). He has had two runs back now
and though he has failed to beat a runner home both times, each race just hasn’t suited him at all. Finally gets out to
a staying trip, getting near peak fitness, and he is one of many on the program who wouldn’t mind some cushion in
the track.

RACE 7. (15:35) SYDNEY STAKES 1200M

BACK ME
12 In Her Time (Bet Now: $2.60) clearly on top. She did the followers some nice things first up in the Premiere a
fortnight back when the $9 all in was on offer and she got the job done at half that price. Heading towards the
Manikato, and really, she wouldn’t have looked out of place in the Everest. The one to beat for sure.

DANGER
I think the big improver here is the Hayes/Dabernig runner 8 Derryn (Bet Now: $20.00). He was kept safe in the
betting at odds when resuming in the Moir but nothing really went right for the four year old and for mine he was a
total forgive behind She Will Reign. Career best efforts have come in Sydney and I can see him being a player here
at odds.

LONG SHOT
Not sure he can win, but for exotics, I’d definitely include 9 Kaepernick (Bet Now: $15.00). Had his first run for the
O’Shea camp at Warwick Farm last Monday where he lumped 61kg to score a superb fresh win and give the course
record a nudge despite doing plenty wrong. He only can improve off that, and yes, he’s an enigma, but perhaps
O’Shea has figured him out.

BACK ME
Hoping we get a dry-ish track, because I am firmly in the corner of 4 Redkirk Warrior (Bet Now: $9.50) and have
been for a while. The stable couldn’t have talked this horse up any higher prior to resuming in the Bobbie Lewis,
which was the reason why I was stunned he drifted in the market. Didn’t matter. He tore them a new one. If the track
is a good3/good4, it’s going to take a special performance from this lot to get past him.

DANGER
Wet or dry, 1 Chautauqua (Bet Now: $5.50) has to go in the numbers. Bit surprised that some have been
disappointed with his two efforts this time in. The clock says otherwise. He has smashed it in both runs back from a
break, but it’s his awful racing pattern that is costing him. But we know when it comes to a GF, he’s near unbeatable.

LONG SHOT
If we do get a track with give in it, 5 Clearly Innocent (Bet Now: $13.00) should be a $6-$7 chance because he is
unbeaten on wet ground, with his most dominant wins coming on rain affected tracks. His resumption in the Premiere
behind In Her Time was a beauty, he’s a bomb when produced second up and a brutal 1200m will be perfect.

RACE 9. (16:55) AQUALAND CRAVEN PLATE 2000M

BACK ME
You would think only bad luck beats 1 Happy Clapper (Bet Now: $1.65) here. He got a much deserved Group l win a
fortnight back in the Epsom. With Egg Tart out, he looked a good thing on paper, was ridden that way by Blake Shinn,
and won accordingly. 2000m is no issue. Some of his best efforts have come at the trip. Looks the one.

DANGER
I think the only threat, if any, will be the fresh blood which is 4 Star Exhibit (Bet Now: $7.00). Went without Zahra two
back in the Dato behind Bonneval, but was much better last time out in the JRA Cup when making ground on a
leaders track behind Jon Snow, who is being talked up as a Caulfield Cup chance. He’s hard fit, 2000m yes and any
rain, a big yes.

LONG SHOT
Despite stepping up to WFA, 5 Classic Uniform (Bet Now: $17.00) has to be respected enormously here. Gary
Moore trained stayer who was given a lovely ride by Michael Walker to win the Hill Stakes a fortnight back, controlling
things from the front end, sprinting at the right time and he was just too tough. Loses nothing with Tim Clark steering
now, looks the sole leader and should take some beating again.

RACE 10. (17:30) SYDNEY HARBOUR EXCLUSIVE SPRINT (80) 1000M

BACK ME
If we do get a drop of rain, then I think 8 Machinegun Jubs (Bet Now: $5.50) is a great each-way play in the last.
Talented sprinter for Angela Davies who is first up here since the latter part of the Autumn when she raced at Rosehill
and finished midfield behind Kudero. Given one 735m trial to prepare for her return, but she looked very good, she
flies fresh, and as I said, a bit of rain would help her big time.

DANGER
Well what you can say about 3 Latin Boy (Bet Now: $8.00) ? This bloke is absolutely flying for the Richard Freedman
team. He has won all four runs this prep and every time he has been asked to step up, he has delivered, which is
what he did last Monday at Warwick Farm when lumping 62.5kg and running sizzling time. He can measure up here
for sure.

LONG SHOT
14 Fifteen Sunflowers (Bet Now: $23.00) is a talented mare for Clare Cunningham who resumed over 1100m at
Rosehill a couple of Wednesdays back and for mine she was a total forgive. It was a meeting where making
significant ground from the back was a near impossibility and that was the case for her behind Diddums. Lethal
second up record and unbeaten in two runs at the Randwick 1000m.
