“My Reaction Paper in SONA 2018 of President Duterte”

SONA 2018 of President Duterte started so late. There was no cursing in his speech
than his past SONA. The president does not mention any achievements that the administrative
should brag about to the Filipinos. He mentioned the corruption in the country, the human rights
and of course the war on drugs that the president should confidently completed each one.
Corruption in the country is a major problem that the government should resolve or
atleast lessen. President Duterte is bragging this topic to the filipinos that made them applause
but are they really? Many people outside the venue is on rally for the SONA because this
people can’t trust the word of the government. What they see are the failures and lack of
attention to them. So, if the government and the president can see this outside the box, they will
more understand the voices of each Filipinos. Those people that are corrupting will easily be
caught and this case will easily be successful.
The human rights make the human human. Without the human rights of a human, how
can a human be human? In the SONA 2018, Pres. Duterte says "Your concern is human right,
my concern is human lives" I’m kind a confused at a moment, thinking is this good for the
country? If people are going to live and just live without human right then do they still have a
purpose to live in this world? To live and the right to live is not inseparable. Support human
rights.
War on Drugs is the main goal of the president. This started one year ago and I don’t
think that this is still good in the country. War on drugs is implemented to eliminate the
destruction of the country but I don’t think that this is working at all. The number of deaths is
increasing because of this. Pres Duterte give permission to the policemen to kill those who are
in drugs, dealer or lord if they don’t cooperate with them peacefully and there will be a reward in
every kill, that’s why other policemen are killing people even though they are not in the mess of
drugs. Pres. Duterte handles these policemen and he should take control to his allies to make
this case a success.
With the success of all these, all Filipinos will see the development in the era of Pres.
Duterte and I’m so excited to see and be part of this development. Of course, for this success,
each and everyone Filipino must willing to participate and help the Pres. Duterte. Make
President Duterte’s term be completed with all of us.
