2 Removal of concrete, plasters etc. exposing reinforcement & cleaning of existing


RCC surface of columns/beams/slabs etc. carefully without damaging the existing
good concrete and using impact high frequency hammer/chisel including cleaning
the surfaces by compressed air jet and disposal of unserviceable materials/malbs
etc. all complete inclusive of cost of labour, materials, equipment and disposal of
unserviceable material by manual/mechanical transport to nearby dumping Cum 88.00
ground as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge including all loading/unloading
etc. (Volumetric quantity of chipped off concrete shall be measured for payment
purpose).

3 Providing and applying alkaline rust converter over the exposed old reinforcement
as per manufacturers specification and

of 24 hrs between coats. (measured on the basis of total concrete surface area to
be repaired).

9 (a) Providing, laying, compacting and curing M-30 grade structural grade
concrete as per design mix using Ordinary Portland Cement (43 Grade)as per IS
8112 with Minimum cement content of 400 Kg per cum and nominal maximum
size of 20 mm and having slump of 45 mm with a maximum water/cement ratio of
0.4, excluding the cost of centering & Shuttering, finishing, reinforcement. (b)
Addition of Styrene Butadiene Resin (SBR) latex with 10% by weight of cement
with dry latex solids content in latex varying from 30-40% mixture as per ACI- cum 94.00
548.3R-95. Proper curing to be done for the concrete work. Gunny bags may be
used for effective curing to protect the evaporation water.

10 Strengthening column beam juction with non metalic composite fiber wrapping
system comprise of undirectional glass fiber sheet (90 GSM) and compatible
saturant, by dry layup system including,Surface preparation :- Grinding/moulding
concrete substrate, cleaning it with wire brush removing oil, laitance if present,
rounding shartp edges to min 25mm radius etc. complete.Profilling :- Applying
compatible primer on prepared sustrate, filling the holes and uneven surface with
thixotropic putty etc. complete.
Wrapping :- Wrapping the fiber sheet to structural element at desired orientation Sqm 1120.00
using tamping roller to avoid any air voids etc.
Sand pasting :- Applying second coat of saturant after 12 hrs, rectify air voids if
any paste the river sand on it to make surface rough to take any further finishes.

11 Providing in sealed containers penetrating silane siloxane primer manufactured


by reputed manufacturer and approved by the Engineer In Charge and applying
the same after thoroughly cleaning of the surface. Coating to be done after primer
will be ready-mixed UV resistant anti carbonation aliphatic acrylate coating as per Sqm 5620.00
item 12 below.

12 Providing and applying protective coating to internal and external surface with
contractor's supply of aliphatic acrylate, solvented, elastomeric coating sytem in
two coat after silane siloxane primer coat as per the manufacturers specification
including priming coat, intermediate coat and top coat with paints from approved
firms after surface preparation i.e. cleaning the surface free of loose

13 Providing and applying 100% solids, flexible, elastomeric, UV stable, 2


component, waterproof, chemical resistant, fast setting (within 45 seconds), 2.0
mm thick over the compatible epoxy primer in a single application with multiple
passes using high pressure plural component reactor strictly as per
manufacturer's specifications including all necessary tools, tackles, high pressure
spray machine, primer application, surface preparation, injection grouting into the Sqm 1430.00
crackes filling of cracks with suitable compound, solvent for overlaps, lifting and
shifting of equipment, all transportation etc. complete.
