The applicants seems to be sure that they had all the re-
quirements although their applications were declined. The
relief fund was formulated to help those who are unem-
ployed in order to survive during the Covid-19 pandemic.

A woman, identified as Ziyanda Malongwana on Twitter,


has called out President Ramaphosa after her application
for the Covid-19 relief fund was declined.

Malongwana shared a screenshot of the text message she


received from SASSA, which claims that her application was
declined based on the fact that she receives an income
from other sources.

However, Malongwana claimed she has been unemployed


for the past four years and wanted to know what form of
income SASSA claims she received.
Malongwana captioned the post:
