Impact of COVID19 crisis in your individual workplace affecting in particular the

performance management system.

The office needs to operate in a new operating procedure when COVID19

crisis happened. The normal capacity of the office for personnel was reduce to its

half to abide the social distancing procedure inside the office.

To avoid idling during the pandemic, work from home was conceptualized.

The office personnel were group into two and its group will have corresponding

week in reporting to the office. Work from home is assigned by the immediate

supervisor with the approval of the office head to allocate corresponding target of

output in terms of numbers or percentage of the work assignment provided. At the

office work schedule of the office personnel, each were required to provide work

accomplishment reports. These will then be compared to their targets and should be

noted by the immediate supervisor for verification purposes. Every personnel who

doesn’t meet their targets will then need to explain to their immediate supervisor for

further discussions. On other hand, the office was also assigned by the LGU to be the

food committee for the COVID19 front liners and KADIWA facilitator. Every
personnel will then report as member of the food committee 3 times every 2 weeks.

They were entitled of hazard allowances and additional pay for their additional

work assignments. On other hand, the KADIWA facilitator will facilitate the direct

buying of goods from the farmers and sell it at lower prices to the consumers with a

modified free delivery if order bases were offered.

COVID19 can be one of the worse pandemics we ever experienced yet it

teaches the office personnel to be more hygienic and to work without the

supervision. Furthermore, the office management prove their versatility and

creativity during this difficult time.
