Results and analysis:  
 
Indeed, as a self reflection I always tried to be as more emphatical as I can. I show always 
respect to my cohorts opinions and if it is the case that they think differently to me I always 
listen carefully and tried to expand my knowledge. I think I have room to improve my assertivity 
but overall I have good communication skills in order to create a safe environment and achieve 
results.   

Questions for reflection: 

1. What positive behaviors could you identify in the way you communicate?  

As the results of the table convey, My strong behaviors are crealy, respectful and directly 
communication to my classmates and coworkers. As well, no matter the occasion I listen 
carefully and respect any person I talk to. When I have chance, I let know my co workers 
recognition of their achievements, how well they perform, cheer them up in every activity and 
stand out their strengths, also their things to improve in order to motivate them to become the 
best.  

2. What behaviors of yours do you feel need improving?   

I have always struggle with time management, so for me arrangement or commit to attend a 
meeting is always a problem. So establishing goals, performance assessment meeting and time 
to dedicate myself to improve are always a headache.

3. How do you think your way of communicating affects people and results? 

I think that my communication skills are not bad at all, as I explained above I aim to give 
my best and always be as more assertive as I can. Of course, my personality has to be 
with the level of assertiveness I have. I am a person who is willing to help and motivate 
the people of my network , so sometimes my decision are based on my feelings giving 
as a result biased opinions or not accurate at all.  

However, overall I am an empathic person with high ethical values.  

4. What factors do you think influence the way you communicate with others? 

As I aforementioned, my feelings are a big factor as well as my kindness and care for 
people. So, sometimes I am not direct or tried to do not offend people so I please 
everyone and the decision is not as agile as has to be.  

5. What conclusions can you make based on these observations that will allow you to 
improve your communication as a leader, both in the work environment and in your 
personal environment?   

That when you make decision a leader must be assertive and emphatic but has to 
balance that skills because can be double edge factor because people could have the 
impression of lack of leadership or personality. As a decision maker, I shall collect and 
listen every opinion but finally I have the last decision and do not be biased, always 
encourage team working and the best for the greatest number of people.

1. Take presence or online courses to improve and develop time management skills. When I 
finish them, apply the knowledge acquired and measure myself every two weeks to see 
improvements.   
2. Use tools to help me manage my time, such as calendars, agendas, apps in order to have 
a management of my duties, tasks. As a visual person, graphics tools can help me a lot.  
3. Ask for help to people I consider have an excellent time management in order to ask for 
tips, advices and best practices to adopt them.
