Major Assignment:
Your assignment for Spring 2020 is to develop your Career Progression Plan based on the strategies
you have studied in the class.

Plagiarism:

Your assignment is subject to plagiarism check, the similarity index of your assignment should not
surpass 20 percent. Otherwise, you may lose a part or all of your marks.

Plagiarism is highly discouraged.  This may lead to no marks in the assignment.  Any source
used from books, articles or other internet resource must be referenced in the assignment.   
You will be given a class ID for Turnitin, where you have to upload and generate a similarity report.
The similarity report should be attached to your assignment.
Duration:

Students have the flexibility to be guided throughout attempting the assignment; however, the
final assignment must be submitted exactly two weeks before the commencement of final
exam.  No further dates shall be entertained.

Format Guidelines for APD Major Assignment

1. Title Page
a. University Name & University Logo.
b. Assignment Type (Mini Assignment / Major Assignment).
c. Your Name, Registration #, Semester, Subject Name, Day of your class.
d. Lecturer Name, Submission Date.
2. Table of Contents
3. Body of the Assignment:
a. Introduction
b. Goals and Objectives
c. Career Plan
d. Action Plan
4. Summary, with your own wording & understanding into no more than 30 pages –
Computerized

General Guidelines:

1. Your assignment must be typed and properly assembled.


2. All pages should be numbered correctly.
a. Titles: Times New Roman – Size: 14.
b. Assignment body: Times New Roman – Size: 12
c. Line spacing: 1.5
3. Spell words correctly (use spelling check & proofread your assignment).
4. Assignment must be submitted on the deadline while marks will be deducted if
submitted late (0.5 mark for each day of delay).
5. All assignments submitted will be subject to plagiarism verification by Software.
6. Ensure that your writing reflects the materials discussed in the referred books.
Failure to write general statements with no reference to course materials will
result in low scores.
