This study examined the durability of bricks made with potato starch by conducting various laboratory tests to determine strength. The potato skins used came from a market in Davao City, Philippines. Tests performed on the bricks included absorption, crushing strength, hardness, size/shape, color, soundness, and structural analysis using equipment available at the University of Mindanao's civil engineering laboratory.

determining its strength by different test. The potato skin that to be tested in the experiment is from bangkerohan market Davao City. The laboratory tests considered in conducting and determining the effectiveness are the absorption test, crushing strength test, hardness test, shape and size, color test, soundness test, and structure of brick. The tests will be performed in the CE laboratory room of the University of Mindanao (UM) using the equipment needed that are available.
