MODULE CONTENT

SUBJECT DESCRIPTION:

This module guided by the K-12 Curriculum prescribed by the Department

of Education, the start of each chapter also highlights the learning competencies to
be acquired by the students in going through the chapter.

To lead the learning of the students in a progressive and gentle way, the
learning competencies of the chapter are broken down into sections. The start of
each section demonstrates the problem-solving approach used by the authors to
introduce mathematical concepts. The examples are appropriately chosen to
elaborate a concept, emphasize a technique, illustrate a computational method, or
reinforce a skill being developed. Well-chosen exercises are given at the end of
each section to assess the learning of the students on the skills and abilities being
developed.

At the end of each chapter evaluates the theoretical understanding.

Computational skills, and problem-solving ability of the students, and it includes
objective-type questions, skill reinforcement, and a word problems.
