of 103 degrees, he will also have
to stand in long queues at gov-
ernment-run facilities under

symptoms, and she needs
treatment at home, how will
you take her to a quarantine
centre or a govt facility? At
home, she can be taken care
of by her children in a better
way,” the CM said.
He demanded the imple-
mentation of previous sys-
tem under which medical
teams of the district admin-
istration would visit the
houses of Covid patients to
check on them and guide
them about the process they
were required to follow for
their recovery.
LG Baijal last week report-
edly issued an order making
it mandatory for every new
Covid patient to visit a care
centre for clinical assessment
to ascertain whether he or she
requires hospitalisation or
home isolation.
Earlier in the day, Delhi's
deputy CM Manish Sisodia,
addressing an online media
briefing, said he has today writ-
ed in my letter that this arrange-
ment of sending every patient
to a quarantine centre for
clinical assessment should
stop or this would lead to
immense chaos and confusion
in Delhi," Sisodia said.
He said there were two
models in Delhi ~ Shah model,
which requires every Covid
patient to visit a quarantine
centre for their clinical assess-
ment, and Kejriwal model
under which medical teams
of district administrations go
to the homes of coronavirus
patients to check on them
and guide them about the
roadmap for their recovery.
"This is not about Shah
model versus Kejriwal model,"
Sisodia said, adding that the
focus must remain on the
model that would ease peo-
ple's suffering.
"Looking at the ground
