Krityanand UNESCO Club, Jamshedpur is a non-government organization (NGO) established in 1992, Registered Under Societies Registration Act, 1860
and has Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
Computational and Data Science are the key technologies of presence and future. Computational methods
and mathematical analysis are used for simulation, prediction, data evaluation, analysis, risk assessment,
development and optimization, and can be found virtually everywhere. The Krityanand UNESCO Club is
pleased to announce new research internship placements in Accelerating Informatics and Computational
Sciences Program. This summer internship programs continues run due to COVID-19, (Work from Home),
and are aimed at Under Graduate and Post Graduate students.
Purpose
Models, mathematics, statistics, data and algorithms are the fundament of our digital world. By combining mathematical and statistical
knowledge with informatics, computational science and data science provide unseen new perspectives for research, economy, and for our
society. Exploiting the capabilities of modern numercial and computational methods and of supercomputers, increasingly complex problems
can be tackled – in economy, finance, pharmacy, medicine, R&D, natural-, environmental-, and social-sciences, bio-medicine, or engineering
sciences.
The purpose of this Program is to provide a forum for students, scientists, engineers and researchers to discuss and exchange ideas, results,
experiences and work-in-process in the field of informatics and computational science.
Overview of the Program:
The Krityanand UNESCO Club is an institution of research and higher education dedicated to the study of economic development issues and
for this, The Program “Accelerating Informatics and Computational Sciences” is aimed at students with a strong analytical and quantitative
background, and offers an unparalleled experience. The program provides an opportunity to engage with critical issues in a aims to provide a
platform for Researchers, Academicians, Professionals, Engineers, and also students to share their research ideas and results of research
especially in the field of informatics, computational science and related field.
Objective:
The consequence of industrial revolution 4.0 eventually brings up opportunities as well as challenges for human. The convergence of
cyberspace and physical world has been so evident as computers become more ubiquitous and autonomous. People should take the
advantages of the intertwined-world technology without worrying to lose their values or to be controlled by robots then. Thus, researchers are
encouraged to prepare technology and to cope with its impacts towards more human-centered society 5.0.
Who it’s for
The AICS Internship concentration attracts diverse students from UG/PG Level only (B.Tech/M.Sc./M.Tech).
Prerequisites:
Students are expected to have basic knowledge in Computer Science, Strong theoretical and empirical grounding in development.Preference
will be given for UG/PG students in B.Tech/M.Tech/MSc.
