This study was conducted to know the Effects of Korean Pop Culture to the

Academic Performance of Selected High School Students of Talospanag National

High School in the School Year 2019-2020. Specifically, the study focused on the

respondents’ profile in terms of age and gender and how K-pop Culture affect their

studies.

The descriptive method was used in this study and questionnaire was the

main tool in gathering the needed data. Mean average, frequency count and

percentages were used to interpret the data gathered.

It was found out that most the of the respondents belong to age of 18-20.

Females dominated the study.

Based on the conclusions drawn from the results of study, the following

recommendations were presented:

1. The result of this study will serve as basis of the Effect of the K-Pop Culture

to the High School Students.

2. It’s not bad to try K-Pop Culture, we shouldn’t forget our own too.

3. It’s not bad to idolize your idols, but the point is, we shouldn’t put others

down.

4. For parents, they should guide their children well and teach them to save

their money not just for the event of their idols and other stuffs, instead save it

for their future.
