Manuel M. Muhi
University President
Polytechnic University of the Philippines
Anonas, Sta. Mesa, Maynila, Kalakhang Maynila

Dear Mr. Muhi,

I hope you are doing well and safe. I'm Martin Z. Liz, a freshman student from
the BS Hospitality Management program of PUP College of Tourism,
Hospitality and Transportation Management. In addition to that I am also part
of the Student Council

I am writing this letter to express my sincerity upon shifting to BS Psychology,

as I saw the news regarding the rules about shifting that includes the
prohibiting of shifting from non board course to board course. Despite this I
would like to say that I'm still perseverant to enroll in your department. I
experienced the situation of fitting myself into a course that I don't really want
but force to do so because of certain circumstances, I've also tried to join the
Academic Organization of my College Department to give myself to explore
more about this field but it just made me more sure that pursuing BS
Psychology is really something in my heart

I'm not the only one who is dreaming to enter this course and I am confidently
sure that my family cannot afford to let me study in an Institution that offers the
same program. I'm writing this letter to you with all of my heart to reconsider
my application to shift to your College Department. I'm willing to do everything
that I need to in order to achieve the goals and dreams that even this
pandemic cannot hinder me from thriving.

This pandemic made me realize how important time is. It made me more eager
to pursue being a licensed psychologist since the majority of people right now
are experiencing Depression and Anxiety due to this crisis that affects millions
of people all over the world, sadly the number of License psychologists here in
our country is very few and the people who needs medical care is expected to
arise. I want to serve our fellow countryman and Fight not just this Pandemic
but also help people to prevent the rampant increase of suicide, depression
and anxiety.

Sincerely,

Martin Z. Liz
