SPELLING MECHANICS:

I. Elimination Round (Speed Spell)

One by one, spellers must stand inside the spell gate and spell as many
words as they can in 45 seconds. Spelling a word incorrectly will end their turn
regardless of time left. The top spellers, will be safe from elimination.

II. Team Immunity Challenge

Spellers from the different schools will choose a colored token out of a
bag/box in which that color is the team they will be in. Each team will have a
representative to spell until every speller have spelled in the round.
The speller who buzzes in first is allowed to spell the given word
correctly. If correct, his/her team will get a point. The team with the highest
points will continue to the next round.

III. Letter by Letter Knock Out Mode

Spellers must spell a word, saying a letter one by one in the order they
are in. If the speller makes a mistake, he/she will be out of the round. There
will be three rounds to determine the 3 contenders for the final round.

IV. Spelling Bee

The remaining spellers will follow the normal Spelling Bee rules. The
speller will be given a word to spell orally. The last speller standing will be
declared the winner.
