I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
a. define mean deviation;
b. state the formula of mean deviation;
c. compute the mean deviation of grouped data.

a. Preliminaries

Check the attendance of the students

b. Motivation:

Let the students write words that they can formed based on the jumbled letters.

Let the students guess the title of the lesson based on the words they formed

c. Presentation of the lesson:

Let the students answer the activity sheet 1 involving distribution table.

Let them discover and state the formula in finding the mean deviation of grouped data.

Let the students report to the class on their findings on their activity and guide them in arriving at
the correct computation of their answer.
