Competency: Use information from news Code: EN10LC-Ia-11.1193

reports, speeches, informative talks, panel
discussions, etc. in everyday conversations
and exchanges

Getting information with the use of texts helps you formulate your own
insights, views, or opinions based on what you have read, listened, or viewed. These
information form cloud in your head which make you tend to argue on a certain issue.
An argument is a sign of a healthy conversation if it is done politely and not
offensively. It is normal for everyone to agree or disagree on a particular topic.
Through reading texts, watching news, listening to a radio, or joining in a healthy
conversation, you can gather information. This information helps you to decide easily
and carefully. Hearing different point of views is like catching a lot of fish in just one
throw of your finishing net.
