Public Speaking
Public speaking is giving speech face to face to live audience. However,
due to the evolution of public speaking, it is modernly viewed as any form of
speaking between an audience and the speaker. Traditionally, public speaking
was considered to be a part of the art of persuasion.
Activity 10
▪ What is the speech all about? Briefly summarize the contents of his/her speech. What
particular utterances made an impact on you? Why?
▪ Was the speaker able to follow all the techniques in public speaking included in the
above article? Which particular technique/s was/were the speaker not able to apply?
